On September 5, 1977, NASA launched the Voyager 1 space probe, a daring mission to explore the uncharted reaches of our solar system. Over a decade and six billion kilometers later, Voyager 1 turned its camera homeward and captured the iconic photograph known as the Pale Blue Dot. In that single frame, Earth appeared as a tiny speck suspended in the vast cosmos. This humbling perspective underscores our planet's fragility and shared responsibility for its care.
Inspired by this, Blue Dot Brigade seeks to rally software developers in a shared mission to protect our planet. Much like a fire brigade working together to overcome daunting tasks, we believe in the power of collaboration to address one of humanity's greatest challenges: safeguarding our environment.
